The glorious interior of Sant’ Ivo by my favorite architect, Borromini. It’s only open early Saturday morning, so it took me a few years to drag myself down to the Piazza Navona area…well worth the trip.

  1. its really an incredible building. borromini’s interior uses molded white stucco to create texture, depth and shadow. beautiful. i love his work at san carlino on the quirinal hill, too.

  2. yes! that needs to be my next stop, a fantastic and unique dome
