Scaffolding on via del Pellegrino. I like the way the modern metal contrasts with the old Roman architecture. Thanks to M for humoring me while I snapped away.

  1. Very cool photo.

You have a great eye. I would have just walked past that light.

p.s. I’m still thinking about that soup.

  2. Thanks! That soup was delicious…dinner was fun last night, we’ll have to do it again soon.

  3. I like your way.
I often contrust new and old, tradistional and modern in my blogs.

That red light is impresive in the darkness.

  4. very very atmospheric – nicely caught! reminds me of a scene from a movie.

  5. Nobu – I imagine that in Japan there is a lot of opportunity to contrast old and new. I didn’t even notice the red light at first when I was taking a picture of another section, but once I saw it, I knew I had to have it in the photo.

Niamh – Thank you! Could be some sort of murder mystery in Rome 🙂

  6. Great composition! I like the red light.

  7. I really like this photo! You have a lot of nice shots in your blog and it’s so nice to see Rome.

  8. Thanks for your comment Sarah! I’m glad you’re enjoying my views of Rome and I hope you keep coming back.
