Birds on a Wall
I don’t normally shoot in black and white, but I thought it would work well in this instance. I snapped this photo while waiting for the bus this morning (during the only hour or so of sunshine we had before the rain came back!). You can see the shutters still closed as people hadn’t gotten up yet or shut them for security reasons while they were at work. The birds love to perch up there and in fact, if you look closely some of the middle window shutters have white markings….yuck!

Unfortunately such “marking” are a plague in our city, not only disgusting, but also corrosive for monuments and cars!
le tue foto sono bellissime!!!!! posso utilizzarne un per illustrare un post sul mio blog?

Ciao 3mendo – very true. in fact this is the very reason that venice outlawed the pigeon feed sellers last year in piazza san marco. the acid in the droppings were damaging all the stone.
Francesco – Ti mando un email subito.
This is such a stark image, but brilliant.
