Wedding Bells

Posted on May 17, 2009 | 3 comments

On Friday I attended a friend’s wedding at the deconsecrated church by the Baths of Caracalla. They perform civic ceremonies here and while I was waiting for the bride and groom to arrive, I snapped this photo of the officiant sweeping up rose pedals that must have been from another couple’s ceremony. I was very flattered to be asked to photograph my friend’s wedding and want to wish them tanti auguri for their life together!

3mendo – Photo assistant? You are a man of many skills! This is the second wedding I’ve gone to there and it is really a nice place. Haha, hey maybe someday you will be the one getting married there…never say never!
