Direzione Laurentina

During my shoot on Saturday I did manage to sneak in some extra shots for the blog. Oh how I would love to do a proper shoot in a metro station, there’s so much there I’d love to capture! However, post-9/11 they refuse to let you and I got yelled at in Termini once already. Seriously annoying. I decided to sneak this on the escalator at the San Paolo metro as I headed down south to EUR to shoot some posters there. Not the greatest of shots, but I basically had one click and that was it. Check out a much better photo of a metro escalator from a great city blog, Prague Daily Photo. Anyone else have good metro shots? Post your link in the comments!

By the way, thank you to everyone who came to my opening last night, it was great to see you all and I hope many more with get a chance to stop by before the 31st. If you’d like to see photos from the exhibit, check my Flickr.

  1. Hey, NO photos here! Put down your camera! That's illegal now! What are you doing?! Sorry to be so silly. I know the feeling at times! Kind and friendly regards from EAGAN daily photo

  2. Nice shot anyway and you were daring – right in front of the surveillance camera.

  3. Sorry Leif, don't shoot! 😉

Heather – haha….I didn't even know it until you pointed it out.

  4. I want to go to italy some day. What's your favorite place there?

  5. Hi Miss E – In Rome? My favorite museum is the Galleria Borghese, I could spend every day in there! As for other places, there are too many to name. Some favorites of mine are Siena, Padova, Puglia (Otranto and Lecce are fantastic), Naples. The list goes on!

  6. I saw the link you provided for the Prague blog .The pic there is really awesome…Your version is also good but I think you just missed out on timing a little..:)
