Stazione Porta San Paolo

Posted on Aug 31, 2009 | 4 comments

The facade of Stazione Porta San Paolo at night. This station is attached to the Piramide metro station and comes in handy for going out to Ostia Antica (or even just the beach). I liked the kind of 1920s old-world charm of the architecture.

  1. beautiful shot-kind of art deco

  2. Very elegant, and I like the light in this shot. 🙂

  3. Your photo makes it look lovely. Is it this nice in person. Most Rome stations are rather seedy, in my experience.

  4. Thanks Nonna and Gunn!

Saretta – Nah, it's not that nice once you pull back. Rome stations aren't any worse to me than in other bigger Italian cities, but this one is probably better compared to Tiburtina or something.
