View from the Pompidou

Posted on Oct 12, 2009 | 9 comments

I’m heading back to Rome tomorrow evening and I’ll be glad to be back home and in a place where I can actually communicate in the language! However, tonight I decided to go to the Centre Pompidou mostly to take advantage of the panorama on top and I took what has to be one of my favorite photos yet. I felt like I was transported into the age of the Moulin Rouge or something looking at this photo and I swear the only thing done in editing was adjusting the white levels and color a bit. I still don’t think that explains why it looks like a painting (or at least to me). This one is so good, I had to put my name on it!

That’s it from Paris. Tomorrow I’ll be home and out taking photos so you’ll be back in Italy with me in no time.

Rob, what a coincidence! Of course I had no idea which church it was until today when I asked a friend working in Paris. 🙂
