EikonProjekt in Ostiense

Posted on Jan 3, 2010 | 1 comment

Right before I left for the US, I followed Omino71 and Mr. Klevra on a pasteup in Rome and posted some shots. Because I didn’t have a wide angle with me, I couldn’t get a proper shot of this piece, but luckily it was still intact when I returned! It’s an underpass located right next to Rising Love and they’ve placed the figures of St. Peter and St. Paul (the more colorful pop art saint by Omino71 and the painterly saint by Mr. Klevra) on either side of a column with calligraphy by Mister G in the center of a wall behind. This pasteup was a new phase moving into the depiction of these saints and it’s not accident that they’ve chosen Peter and Paul, with their significance to Rome.

There will be much more to come, but if you want to see some of EikonProjekt‘s pieces in person, including some of the posters that were created from my photography, we will be participating in the DDang festival in Bracciano, which opens January 16.
