Mystery in Monti

Posted on Jan 7, 2010 | 5 comments

When I returned from my vacation the first thing I noticed while back at work were the myriad of spray painted figures by the Cavour metro and Piazza Madonna dei Monti, accompanied by stickers all over the place. Kind of odd because it’s not a stencil or poster, but a painted figure, I’m very curious as to the culprit. Anyone have any ideas?

  1. thats really crazy

  2. It takes much longer to paint than to poster or sticker-surprised the person wasn't caught-he is talented-intriguing-hope the mystery gets solved

  3. love this shot. whoever painted that mustve spent some real time on it. i just got back from rome and i absolutely loved shooting there…amazing photo ops.

  4. wall art was one of the things i loved about the city. the artists are so talented!

  5. The artist is a member of GATS – Graffiti Against The System. They're a "radical" graffiti crew from Los Angeles formed to "to counter-attack the abuse and false propaganda that has been exposed to the masses."
