I’m really pleased to announce that tomorrow is the opening of my biggest show yet, one that will showcase the work that I’ve been doing with Omino71 and Mr. Klevra for months. I’ve written a bit about it before, but this time we’ve secured a huge amount of space at Rising Love and tomorrow, during the opening, the guys will be painting a 4 m x 3 m poster of one of their Byzantine icons. The poster was generated from a photograph I took during one of their pasteups, which is the whole point of the exhibit, to show off this cycle and this unusual collaboration between a photographer and street artists. I’ve also been hard at work on a catalog, which you’ll find embedded below. If you are interested in knowing more about our individual thoughts behind the project and how it all works, complete with a huge number of photos, please download it and spread the publication around! I’ve spent quite a bit of time on it and you’ll find the text both in Italian and English.
The photo above shows a detail of another 4 m x 3 m poster hung up last week, which I made video about, and then embellished with spraypaint by Mr. Klevra. The event tomorrow begins at 9 pm and entry is free with a tessera ARCI (5 euro without) until 10:30 pm. After that, you’ll need to pay an additional 6 euro for the concert that begins at 11 pm. If you come by, find me and say hello! You’ll probably recognize me with a camera in my hand.
