Pope for Sale
I apologize for the very late entry into March, but I was out of the country for work and arrived back, full of jet lag, yesterday. I took this shot just before I left and really, it’s something so easy to take outside of any small shop selling tourist items. It never ceases to make me giggle that in Rome, the Pope’s image is hawked right next to cheap little bags with “Ciao Bella” written on them. Someday I’ll get a shot of the Pope lollipops….
He's been reduced to just another tourist attraction!

We're going to be in Rome this upcoming week. Can't wait to get good cheesy Pope stuff for friends. The Pope Pops are perfect! Do they have Pope bobbleheads?

Ben – They're easy to spot around the Vatican.
Haha, i got such a kick out of the "pope for sale" stuff. I was really expecting to see a Jesus shot glass amongst the mix!
