This is what the early morning rush can cause for the people behind the bar in Rome. It’s funny because I feel like if I were in the US there’s no way a place would let clients see dirty dishes like this, but really what’s the harm? They get put in the dishwasher about 5 seconds later and with the frantic pace of the bar in the morning, it’s bound to happen.
I love getting a morning espresso in Italy and actually drinking it from a real cup and not plastic or styrofoam. This is a great photo that illustrates America's throw-away and wasteful mentality.
