Saintly Statues
Yesterday I tried to stick it out to see the via Crucis procession by the Colosseum, but I just couldn’t do it. Too many crowds! Instead I took this photo of a souvenir shop by Santa Maria Maggiore and thought it fitting. Just €3 a piece and they could be yours! Happy Easter everyone. Personally I’ll be stuffing my face with my friend Katie tomorrow at lunch and then spending Easter Monday (ie. Pasquetta) at a friend’s house for a barbeque.

If you stare long enough at the picture, the saints look like they're levitating. It's almost 3-D looking. Must be the background.
