iPhone Photo of the Week: Ghost Town
Today the city was a bit of a ghost town because it was the feast of the patrons saints of the city, San Pietro and San Paolo. Bars, groceries stores, shops, everything was all closed while people took a holiday. Yesterday there were fireworks at Castel Sant’Angelo and today there was a concert in Piazza Campidoglio, but the streets were rather empty, as many get the Monday off as well and spend the weekend away.

Hey, Jessica… not a ghost town at San Paolo (fuori le mura)… THOUSANDS of people at the street fair, band stand, and complete with fireworks. We've never seen so many people at a fair… even Porta Portese fails in comparison… We guess that's where everyone who was still in Rome was…
