When I first moved here and was stupid enough to be taking taxis alot, I noticed that the receipts often had an ad for this strip club near the via Veneto. I happened to walk by it when going to the Swiss Academy, so just had to get a photo. I guess it must be strip club alley, as another called “Dolce Vita” (how original) and some sort of piano bar with a “floor show” are right down the street. Another thing I noticed is that the whole area around via Veneto looks like you stepped back in time to the late 1970s/early 1980s….I don’t think any of the signs for the restaurants or the decor has been updated since then.

  1. Great shot of a part of Rome we are sure they would rather you not share. : )

    Darryl and Ruth : )

  2. Really great shot. rome is such a wonderful place that you can really shot great photographies

  3. Nice photo and nice to see some of the things you might not normally see.

  4. The last time I was on the Via Veneto (near the Bernini fountain, some of the restaurant habitues looked like they were from the 70s and 80s. Same sunglasses, gold chains, and loafers without socks. Except, of course, they are now 30+ years older. … stuck in the time warp again…
