For me, light really is the creative force behind my photographs. In fact, I would go so far as the say that light is one of the most important elements in all art (call me a Caravaggista if you like). Light can hide or reveal, it can give shadow and shade, it can turn the plainest of walls into something beautiful. Take this photo, for instance. It’s really the way the shadow cuts across the doorway that gives the photo its drama. It’s what elevates it to something special and it’s what stopped me in my tracks and made me take out the camera. So that’s my big advice with photography….follow the light.

  1. Indeed!
Photography is pure research around the light and her creations.
Probably photons are the real 'medium' of our photographic perception, beyond every distinction of analogical ed digital.

    Cool perspective here!

  2. Perfect light!

  3. Love the blog! Nice photos! Thanks for the info too!
