There’s nothing I love more than getting photos of people right next to street art without them paying any attention to the fact that it’s next to them. So, I was doubly happy to get this shot, as I’ve been wanting to feature Sone on the blog for quite some time, but haven’t ever really been able to get a fresh piece of his photographed. I think his work is so interesting because it often has an ironic commentary of consumerism or media and this is what sets his pieces apart from others. He was recently featured on Wooster Collective as well. Great to see his stuff getting some attention.

  1. It almost looks like the bird is trying to get her attention and interview her.

  2. The perfect position. Is Sone a bit like Banksy?

  3. Your blog has been recommended to us as a interviewee's favorite blog!
We would like to do an interview with you about your blog for Blog

  4. Invader – Haha I know!

Caroline – Hmm, maybe a little in that they both often use irony, but not really. Sone's stencils are usually a lot more complex and he also doesn't always use media and irony.

Mike – Thanks, I'll check it out!
