I’m on the road, but needed to blog in order put up this image and call attention to an interesting debate that has been going around since images of Eikonprojekt went on La Repubblica the other day. Some sites are quite angry and equate the images to the overall degradation of the city, while others bring up some of the complexities when dealing with public expression. Obviously you all know where I stand on this blog, but I’m interested to hear your points of view. Do you feel this sort of thing is contributing to degrading the city in the same way as the advertising, political posters, and tags on the walls? Where is the line and is there any value to it?
