New Sten + Lex near the Colosseum

Posted on Mar 21, 2012 | 0 comments

I’m behind in my posts!  First there are the photos and comments on the Mark Jenkins show and then there is Alice Pasquini painting a mural in Quadraro.  However, before I get to any of that, I’m showing you some new work by Sten + Lex.  Located right by the Colosseum, the stencils show a new evolution to the “stencil poster.”  Instead of leaving bits of the matrix flowing in the wind, the entire matrix is removed at the same time, leaving behind the portrait.  Don’t know what I mean?  This photo from their website will help. Still don’t get it?  Try this video of a recent work of theirs in San Lorenzo.  Still don’t get it?  Well….you’ll just need to study the images harder!  (Or go out and find one to check in person).
