Stazione Tiburtina 2.0

Posted on Aug 18, 2012 | 4 comments

A little over three years ago I wrote about the grunginess of Stazione Tiburtina, Rome’s second largest station.  And now, earlier in the year, it was completely remodeled (check out an architect’s perspective on the renovations).  While the station is quite cool, the rest of the area definitely still needs a revamp, as the Tangenziale still skirts overhead, making a disconnected environment with the surroundings.
