It’s no surprise to anyone that follows the blog that I love a little urban decay.  This building in Ostiense was right up my alley, as you can see the stucco layers as they seem to be eating up the side of the burnt orange facade.  I think of it as a sort of reserve “rust” that only Rome can have.  An ambience that I have missed while traveling quite a bit over the past few months.  So welcome back to the renewed RomePhotoBlog, where I’ll be posting more often with a look toward exploring urban Rome.
