Tomorrow Mondo Bizzarro Gallery is invading San Lorenzo with Bizzarro 2013, a festival on contemporary art that will take place throughout the neighborhood. There will be open studios, live painting, exhibitions, and a conference on street art and Pop Surrealism organized by Ziguline. I will be participating in the conference, speaking about the development of Rome street art as seen through the eyes of a photographer, along with talks by Antonella Di Lullo, Dario Morgante, Jonathan Pannaccìo, and Erica Calardo. Events run all day, but the conference begins at 4:30 pm in the studio of Claudio Abate at via dei Sabelli, 16. See the full event details on the Facebook event and check out the maps of the area to see what’s going on where.
